Bridging Disciplines Programs offer courses and interdisciplinary academic programs designed to traverse the boundaries between colleges and disciplines and to enhance the quality of undergraduate education.

This class meets on eight Mondays in BTL 101, from 2:00-4:00PM, beginning January 22 and ending March 19. Topic description: Introduces the interdisciplinary study of healthcare, and the many potential roles of the healthcare provider in areas including culture and health, the built environment and health, narrative medicine, and healer resilience in relation to serious illness and end of life care. There will be guest lecturers on those four topics, representing the disciplines of Anthropology, Architecture and Planning, Social Work, and Health Communications.
