Peak Millennials: Major forces behind their growth in cities and the expected future decline

SPEAKER

Dowell Myers is a professor of policy, planning, and demography in the Price School of Public Policy at USC.  His PhD is in urban planning from M.I.T.  Myers was formerly an assistant professor in community and regional planning at UT Austin, after which he left for the University of Wisconsin–Madison to teach in the department of real estate and urban land economics. Dr. Myers is a two-time winner of the best article award from the APA Journal, including articles on “Aging Baby Boomers and the Generational Housing Bubble,” and on “Latinos and the Compact City: Foresight on the Future.” Among his demographic topics, Myers is an immigration expert who serves on the National Academy of Sciences panel on the economic and fiscal impacts of immigration.
