Mindy Cooper: "Born and raised in the rolling farmlands of Pennsylvania, Mindy learned to respect the land and its resources early in life. This environmental interest coupled with her admiration for art and design led her to a career in landscape architecture. Mindy is committed to building a vibrant, resilient urban community and is excited to be a part of an organization with similar focus. Her ability to manage a wide range of tasks has exposed her to a variety of professional experiences from city permitting to highly technical roof gardens. As a member of the leadership team at dwg., she is responsible for guiding the strategic development of the firm and ensuring that the firm’s vision is the backbone of its decision making. In addition to her professional roles, Mindy has been an active participant in the local Austin community. She most recently served with the Sustainable Food Policy Board, where worked with stakeholders to develop a newly adopted Urban Farm Ordinance. "
