Assistant Professor Ria Bravo has partnered with the Materials Lab to curate a speculative collection of membranes with the potential to redefine architectural enclosure. 'Skins' invoke a metaphorical bridge between architectural structures and the human body, encouraging a redefinition of architecture as dynamic, adaptable entities deeply intertwined with their occupants and surroundings. The collection encourages us to contemplate architecture not as rigid edifices but as responsive secondary skins in relationship to the body.
