STG Design is an integrated architecture, interiors, planning, and design technology firm delivering a full range of services aligned with our clients’ market sectors. We guide our clients throughout every stage of the design cycle, from initial design strategy and planning, through management and implementation. Networked across four offices in dynamic cities in Texas, Tennessee, and Arizona, our teams collaborate across the following practice areas: commercial, multi-family housing and hospitality, science and technology, sacred space, as well as healthcare, higher education, nonprofits, and other public sector work, no matter the facility type. As an employee-owned firm, we are invested in each other’s growth and success, all contributing to a multifaceted practice. Founded in 1976 in Austin, Texas, as Oteri Tisdale Architects, STG Design has become one of the nation’s leading firms committed to multidisciplinary design. To provide more extensive interior design services to a broader client base, OTG merged with another interior design firm in the mid-80s and later changed its name to RTG Partners. Following a 20-year anniversary, RTG Partners became Susman Tisdale Gayle Architects in 1997. With Jim Susman, Jack Tisdale, and DeWitt Gayle leading the firm, Susman Tisdale Gayle Architects experienced rapid growth and an increase in winning a wide range of projects, allowing our service-oriented firm to continue growing. In 2008, STG Design merged with BMG Inc., a 20-year, full-service architectural firm, based in Tucson, Arizona, which specialized in private sector and large-scale community development. This merger culminated in the creation of a new company-wide identity, STG Design. With staff networked across four offices in dynamic cities in Texas, Tennessee, and Arizona, STG Design continues to provide great design, unparalleled creativity, and quality service to our clients.
