Leah Hollingshead

Development Specialist

Leah Hollingshead works closely with Luke Dunlap on the School of Architecture’s Development operations. She oversees several projects, from liaising with the SOA Advisory Council to planning special events and overseeing endowment compliance. She comes to this role from UT Austin’s Gift and Estate Planning team, where she gained a wealth of knowledge about non-monetary giving; prior to that, Leah worked at SXSW and Bonnaroo, which provided invaluable lessons about large-scale event production and logistics.

Leah’s fun fact is that she is a classically trained soprano – in her spare time she can frequently be found performing across town with various organizations and new music collectives including Church of the Friendly Ghost, Less Than 10, UT’s New Music Ensemble, Density512, Vamp, Austin Cantorum, and Tinsel Singers. When she isn’t working or singing, Leah is probably rock climbing or gardening; she loves spending time outdoors at central Texas’s many watering holes, limestone rock walls, and hiking trails.
